A learning and working experience for high school seniors and juniors.For six months, the student will attend seminars from experts in the field of criminal justice.

District Attorney’s Justice Academy (DAJA)

A Learning And Working Experience For High School Seniors And Juniors.

  • For six months, the student will attend seminars from experts in the field of social and criminal justice.
    Students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and problem-solve.
  • Over the summer, each intern is matched to an appropriate paid internship.
  • At the conclusion of the program, the students present a oral argument to an audience.

What do we know about DAJA alumni?

  • 92% reported that DAJA contributed to their preparation for college and/or career
  • 92% are either participating in internships or are employed since completing the academy
  • 100% attend college
