DA O’Malley and Statewide DAs Announce Vital Info. for Victims During COVID-19 Crisis

The District Attorneys of Alameda, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego and Santa Clara counties have released a two-part Zoom podcast to provide resources and hope during the pandemic to victims of domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse and sexual assault.

During the current COVID-19 crisis and the ongoing shelter-in-place orders, victims and survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse and elder abuse may not know where go or where to find help. District Attorney’s offices throughout the state are ready to provide needed services, assistance and guidance for crime victims and survivors.

In part one, DA Nancy O’Malley (Alameda County), DA Jackie Lacey (Los Angeles County), DA Anne Marie Schubert (Sacramento County), DA Summer Stephan (San Diego County) and DA Jeff Rosen (Santa Clara County) share vitally important information regarding victim’s rights and how their offices are working to protect victims and provide them with resources and services during the shelter-in-place order.
