People v Ner Bellin Santos

On June 2, 2017, Defendant Ner Bellin Santos was convicted of several sex acts on the son of his ex-partner. The conviction included two counts of sodomy with a minor under 14, continuous sexual assault of a minor under 14, oral copulation with a person under 16, and distributing harmful material to a minor.

For approximately four years, Defendant Santos and his then-partner, Defendant Ivo Parra, sexually assaulted Mr Parra’s son, John Doe. The two defendants sexually assaulted John - both individually and as a pair - and gave John pornographic videos to watch from aged 11 through 15 years of age.

Defendant Ivo Parra previously pled to 22 years in state prison on this case.

Defendant Ner Bellin Santos is scheduled to be sentenced in August 2017.

The case was prosecuted by DDA Danielle Hilton with assistance from DA Inspector Jean Luevano and Victim Witness Advocate Rhoden Briones.
