Our office is proud to announce our own Alameda County Deputy District Attorney Glenn Kim has been appointed by Governor Newsom as a judge to the Contra Costa County Superior Court.

Soon-to-be Judge Kim has been a prosecutor for 14 years. He served as Deputy District Attorney in our office since 2011. Prior to that, he served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office from 2007 to 2010. He’s prosecuted 44 jury trials to verdict including homicides, child sexual assaults and domestic violence cases.

He’s earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Linda C. Lye.
