Senior Assistant District Attorney Cynthia Chandler accepted a proclamation from Board of Supervisor’s President Nate Miley declaring January 2023 as Human Trafficking Prevention Month on behalf of the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.
This month, our office focuses on bringing awareness and working toward preventing human trafficking of all forms, including sex and labor trafficking. These crimes are a serious threat to public safety and Alameda County is the third-highest hot spot for human trafficking in the United States.
Thank you Alameda County Board of Supervisors for your recognition of this important topic.
